Welcome To My Photography Blog

My name is Brooke Olejniczak. I am an amateur photographer located in Bowie, Maryland. I proudly serve the Baltimore, Washington D.C., and Virginia areas. I am a self-taught photographer. Since I have always had a passion for photography, I decided to take it a step futher in 2008 and began taking photographs of my family and friends. My goal is to open my own photography business. Since 2008, I have done numerous photo shoots including engagement, wedding, individual, family, children, senior, maternity, and holiday portraits.

I spend a lot of time before, during, and after each photo shoot to ensure that you are receiving the best photographs possible. I am very patient and understand that children need time to warm-up to the photographer and tend to need breaks during the photo session. While my photo packages include a specific amount of time, I adjust the time based on individual needs to provide you with the best experience possible.

My Equipment

I use a digital camera for all of my photo shoots. I have two Nikon cameras, the D40x and the D5000. I mostly use the Nikon D5000 for my photo shoots and utilize the D40x as my backup camera. I have an external flash, five lenses, indoor lighting, and some props, but you are always welcome to bring your own.

My Photo Shoots

I LOVE to conduct my photo shoots outside in natural light, but also provide indoor photo shoots. All photo shoots include clients' choice of location, unlimited pictures, unlimited poses, and at least one change of clothes. ALL pictures are edited and retouched no matter which photo package you choose. Depending on the length of the session, the number of proofs available for purchase is AT LEAST 15-20 and most of the time more than that!

Flexible scheduling with lots of times are available. Rescheduling due to weather or other circumstances is NEVER a problem. I will even come to your house to do the photo shoot. I DO NOT charge a sitting fee or additional person fees. The price is the same for 1 person to 10 people. Turn around time for your proofs/prints is done as quick as possible without compromising quality!
